CONVOCATORIA DE LA PRIMERA EDICIÓN DEL CONCURSO INTERNACIONAL LEER A MARTÍ

"José Martí: el más universal de todos los cubanos"

La Biblioteca Nacional de Cuba José Martí y la Sociedad Cultural José Martí (SCJM), de conjunto con el Fondo de Nacionales Unidas para la Infancia (UNICEF) y otras plataformas internacionales, convocan a la Primera Edición del Concurso Internacional Leer a Martí. 

Invitamos a niñas, niños y adolescentes de todo el mundo a participar con trabajos creativos que muestren la obra martiana a través de los géneros que concursan, reflejando pensamientos y modos de actuar que forman parte del Ideario Martiano.  

SOBRE LAS BASES:

1. Se concursará por los siguientes niveles:

• 1er nivel: edades de 8 a 11 años

• 2do nivel edades de 12 a 15 años

• 3er nivel edades de 16 a 18 años

En cada nivel se tendrán en cuneta de manera particular niñas, niños y adolescentes con necesidades educativas especiales.

2. Se podrá concursar en los siguientes géneros:

 • Cuento

• Carta

• Texto en prosa 

• Poesía 

• Teatro

• Audiovisuales 

 3. Los trabajos escritos no deberán exceder las tres cuartillas y pueden estar acompañados de ilustraciones del propio autor. Los Audiovisuales se deben entregar en formato MP4, en formato de video horizontal 16x9 y no excederán los 3 minutos.

 4. Se recibirán trabajos en todos los idiomas. 

5. Los trabajos deberán estar identificados con los siguientes datos: 

 • Título del trabajo*

• Género en el que concursa*

• Nombre y apellidos del concursante*

• País*

• Edad*

• Sexo

• Número telefónico*

• Dirección de correo electrónico* 

• Especificar necesidades educativas especiales, si procede

 6. Los trabajos serán recibidos por correo electrónico a concursoleeramartibncjm@gmail.com con copia a josemartisociedadcultural@gmail.com antes del 31 de agosto de 2024.

SOBRE EL JURADO: El jurado estará integrado por intelectuales, investigadores y conocedores de la obra martiana. Tendrá su sede en Cuba y serán invitadas otras personalidades del mundo vinculadas con la obra y la ética martiana.

SOBRE AL PREMIACIÓN: Se tendrá en cuenta la calidad de los trabajos en cuanto al acercamiento del autor a la obra de Martí, originalidad, respeto a las reglas de su respectivo idioma. Se darán a conocer los ganadores en la VI Conferencia Internacional `Por el equilibrio del mundo` que tendrá lugar en enero de 2025 en La Habana, Cuba.

SOBRE AUSPICIADORES PRINCIPALES: El concurso es coauspiciado por el Ministerio de Cultura de la República de Cuba, Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, Ministerio de Turismo, Oficina del Programa Martiano (OPM), Instituto Cubano de Amistad con los Pueblos (ICAP), y Asociación Cubana de Nacionales Unidas (ACNU), de conjunto con Eight Goals One Foundation (8one) y otros colaboradores internacionales.

READING MARTÍ

"José Martí: the most universal of all Cubans"

The José Martí National Library of Cuba and the José Martí Cultural Society (SCJM), together with the United Nations Children`s Fund (UNICEF) and other international platforms, call for the First Edition of the Reading Martí International Contest.

We invite children and adolescents from all over the world to participate with creative proposals that show José Martí`s work in our various competitions, reflecting thoughts and ways of acting that are part of Martí`s ethics.

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

1. There will be competition for the following levels:

• 1st level: ages 8 to 11 years

• 2nd level ages 12 to 15 years

• 3rd level ages 16 to 18 years

At each level, children and adolescents with special educational needs will be taken into account with particular care.

2. You can compete in the following genres:

 • Tale

• Letter

• Prose

• Poetry

• Theater

• Audiovisuals

3. Written works must not exceed three pages and may be accompanied by illustrations made by the author himself. The Audiovisuals must be delivered in MP4 format, as a 16x9 horizontal video, and will not exceed 3 minutes.

4. Works will be accepted in all languages.

5. The works must be identified with the following data:

 • Work title*

• Genre of the work*

• Name and surname of the contestant*

• Country*

• Age*

• Sex

• Phone number*

• Email address*

• Specify special educational needs, if applicable

6. The works will be received by email to concursoleeramartibncjm@gmail.com with a copy to a josemartisociedadcultural@gmail.com before August 31, 2024.

JURY: The jury will consist of intellectuals, researchers and experts on Martí`s work. It will be based in Cuba and other personalities from around the world linked to Martí`s work and ethics will be invited.

AWARDS: The quality of the works will be taken into account in terms of the author`s approach to Martí`s work, originality and respect for the rules of their respective language. The winners will be announced at the VI International Conference FOR THE WORLD BALANCE that will take place in January 2025 in Havana, Cuba.

MAIN SPONSORS: The contest is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Cuba, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Tourism, Office of the José Martí Program (OPM), Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), and Cuban Association of the United Nations (ACNU), together with Eight Goals One Foundation (8one) and other international collaborators.
